Southern Texas coast. The climate here is mostly
95 degrees and 95 percent humidity. For my cooling
system to work, EVERYTHING has to be right.

nothing clogged/restricted (hoses can collapse)
functioning thermostat
cooling fins not oxidized away
proper mix of coolant
and how about that water distribution tube?

lack of a shroud is more of a problem when the
vehicle is stopped and running: while moving
air is forced over the radiator, when stopped
the shroud is what channels the fan's draw over
the radiator
