OK
I've been looking for a '41-'69 Power Wagon (civilian type) for about 6 months now, I thought I found one this weekend. I went and looked at it, and it's a 1952 M-37.

My dilemma: This M-37 is VERY clean and complete. It's an M-37 W-W, model T45 (pick up body with hard top). The body is in excellent shape. The windows crank up and down, the doors open and close easily, the windshield frame is perfect and windshields tilt out, it has all the BO lights, still runs 24v, it runs very well, it has a PTO but the winch was removed and gone, it's licensed, it even has a tailgate. He's asking $3750 OBO.

I drove the truck (my first experience in a military Dodge), what a blast! The only problem with it, is that it was VERY hard to shift. I tried double clutching to no avail. The owner said "You just have to get the timing down." Even with the bad shifting experience I've fallen in love!

My question(s) to the Forum: Is hard shifting a common thing? Is $3750 a good price? Is there anyone else in the state of New Mexico that reads this forum and would be interested in buying it?

As I said I was looking for a civilian truck, not an M-37. At this writing, I'm still looking for a civvy, but I could be swayed VERY easily:)

Just looking for input
Tim
