Just got home lastnight with an early 40 model power wagon looking truck. At first I thought it was a power wagon but there are no letterings on the hood. The fenders and cab look identical to the power wagons. The truck was used in the sandhills of west Texas as a welding truck. It's 4wd and 20" wheels. It currently has a 6 cyl. GM motor. The shocks are the old style hydralic shocks. The truck isn't surplus and was red with black fenders. Appears to be a 1 1/2 ton rig. Email me direct and I'll send jpg photos. Any help would be appreciated.
Where are the id or vin numbers? There are metal plaques screwed to the dash and glove box door. All are unreadable except for the stamped char/num on one of the plaques.
