I had attended this forum as an individual that just happens to have a 1958 PW, and not in a dealer capacity, but I see that Joe has no idea who I am. I have been a MoPar parts dealer for more than 30 years. I recognize a few names on this site as customers of mine. Well I guess views of dealer do not matter. What a waste as I have a vast data base of parts suppliers which I am always willing to share. Most are small guys, not profesional dealers with no computer lists, no monthly magazines, most have no idea what parts they have, they still do it as a hobby, gee what a lost concept these days.

Let me share a little, I just got back from Chrysler's at Carlisle. Found NOS rear fenders $35.00 each. NOS headlight buckets $75.00 for the pair. The parts are out there you just need to look. Carlisle is mainly a muscle show but vendors bring all kinds of parts. The fenders were in the guys trailer, not out in plain view. The headlights were burried in a box under a table. I also attended the fire muster in Harrisburg ( same weekend and just down the road)and found a NOS front fender #1398510 for $100.00. Hey they still use these PW's for fire trucks!! Image that. You do not need to go ta AK to find lost parts. Try Cleveland, Ohio. OOPS! let that slip.

As far as mentioning names, when you advertise in a publicly sold print medium you are no longer a "private individual". Names need to be mentioned GOOD , BAD, or INDIFFERENT,. Remember the best advertising for the dollar is "word of mouth".

Well I see that this is just a Web site for VPW.

I am sure this message will be history soon.

See Ya.
