Are you using the bent type, stamped steel lever or the straight cast iron type. It is also possible that I am using the wrong clutch. The one I have is from a mid 70s blazer with mechanical linkage. It has 3 arms converging at the t/o rather than the multiple fingers. Do you have access to another bell housing of the same type. One of my mounting holes is broken through the casting.
