I'm using the same bellhousing, I think (the cast iron one with the mount pads at 30 degrees to horizontal) and using a 12" clutch no problems. I did cut the outside end of the lever arm off and my pressure point of my hydraulic slave cylinder (Toyota Land Cruiser master and slave cylinders) is closer to the fulcrum, which gives a harder pedal but more travel. The slave cylinder is attached to studs, one in the bellhousing and one in the block to bellhousing adapter. Just holes that are drilled and threaded.
