I am completing a Chevy 350/SM 420 conversion on a '53 M37. I am using an old chevy truck cast iron bell housing. I am trying to use a 12 inch clutch but the clutch lever won't clear the side of the clutch. Do I need a different clutch lever, bell housing, or should I go to an 11 inch clutch? I need to stay with the bent style clutch lever so that it will clear the bell housing mounts. Thanks in advance.
