Gordon,
You don't say if you have a gas rig or a diesel. I have a 97, Ram, 4X4, 3/4 ton, diesel, 4.10 gears
I installed Bridgestone Dueler M/T tires. Lt285/75R16. They are identical to the B.F.Goodrich Mud Terrains.
I ran a test before with the stock tires and after with the over sized and the RPM's where the same from 45 MPH on up to 65 MPH at 5 MPH increments. A little different up to 45 MPH. I couldn't believe it so I ran the test again with the same results. Don't ask me why. The odometer is about 8% off.
But, they look real nice on the truck. With your higher gears it might no suit you as well. Also, I wouldn't want anything bigger.
Hope this helps.
I finally receiver my first issue of PW Advertiser on July 3.
