I wonder if a 6.9/7.3L V8 diesel would fit in an M37? It just might. With 4.89s, 11.00R16s and the wide ratio ZF 5spd, 2000 rpm at 60; there'd be no lack of torque, you wouldn't need a turbo. You would need front disks to stop the thing. Anybody heard of one being done?
