I agree 100% with Nick, I wish ALL my vehicles were 24V. Maybe I should have converted the B1PW to 24V, not 12V. But the motor had a 12V starter and fuel pump on-off solenoid. My Landcruiser BJ40 is 24V. It's the most reliable vehicle (least down time in 20 years) I'll ever own in my life I am sure. It's 24V. The repair technicians at Auto Electric Parts & Service here in Anchorage tell me 24V starters, alternators and other parts last longer than 12V due to decreased current flows.
