I have shot some of these on various cars I've done over the years.
Used both the PPG and the BASF formulations with thier matching color and
clear coats... I've never had any problem with rust comming back even though
it's been 11 years on the oldest paint job. I take the car to the beach often.
I did take all of the cars to bare metal before priming though. Primer I sprayed in
the yard, the color and clear got done in a booth...

I also have a few friends who paint for a living using the same products, they all
give a five year warenty on the paint when they go to bare metal before painting.

Keep in mind though that you need a good respirator, etc. The epoxy can
kill you if inhale too much of the the stuff...

I'm not being as particular on my M37. It's getting a spray using impliment enamal
for the primer and either Gillespie lusterless or semi-gloss Marine Green depending on what unit
markings are going on it...
