I just had a fender stripped clean by solution.

I plan to use Barrier, an anti-rust primer made by Rodda. It should still be available. It comes in green, yellow, black and reddish brown. I plan to pick up the reddish-brown for the M-37. I have used the green on an older rig. I had some leftover parts coated with this stuff that have been exposed for 10 years and are only now showing rust flecks in the thinner areas where I didn't brush on the paint thick enough.

As for the hard to get to areas...I just use a liberal amount with one of the sponge-on-a-stick "brushes" or just pour the paint through and wipe up the excess runoff. Whatever works. As for sealed panels, I just entomb the panel with a healthy seal of thick paint. So far so good.

My next puzzle is a windsheild frame. I'd like to chemically dip it, but that will leave fresh metal inside. I'm debating about just pouring a half gallon of barrier into the frame, sloshing it around, and draining it. If anyone has a better solution I'd sure like to hear it.
