i think the point is not to do anything stupid. it seems that comprssed air, combat rims, split rims and gas tanks are something you might not want to take too lightly (i.e. respect them) i know (knew) a guy who worked for my dad's trucking shop. inflated a new tire outside the cage. he is no longer with us. i think a sensiblle proven modifcation for safety's sake or driveability is always welcome. i have disc brakes, seat belts and dual tail lights and signals on my command car. i had the gas tank renewed by a pro and i chained the tires during removal/installation. i'd hate to see one of us get hurt.... or worse
