Cab brackets

I started to remove my brackets from the frame to clean and paint. Drivers side bracket has 3 rivets, and the passenger side has 1. The rest where standard nuts and bolts. Is this normal? Can drill them out and replace with bolts? Oh yeah, it's(the truck) 47 WDX. Thanks.
