As much as I like Stainless I'd suggest not to do it. Harder to bend/work and hard to weld to mild steel unless you have a TIG welder. Go with mild in the same thickness and cover thourghly with a good rust resistant paint on the inside especially. Like Todd said, if they are available buy them and cut out what you need. Kevin
