OT-Question about Cummins Filters

My father-in-law has a 2004 Dodge with a Cummins in it and asked me about oil/fuel filter brand preferences for it. I know what I like for a gasoline engines but I don't have a clue for a Cummins. What brands are good and what brands-if any-should he stay away from? He's looking for the maximum longevity from the engine and wants to take good care of it. Thanks!
