See OTM's post below, the first thing you should do for clutch chatter is rush in and change the water pump.......NOT! Just kidding!
Assuming that the clutch was the correct clutch and the clutch arm was adjusted properly to allow complete and proper engagement without slipping (it could have slipping from the beginning and is now bad enough for you to KNOW that it is slipping).
1) Crawl under there and make sure that your rear main seal is not leaking and getting oil on the flywheel surface.
2) If the flywheel has been turned before and is marginal thickness, it may have become warped from the heat.
These are all items to check BEFORE you start taking it apart again. Check, verify, measure and confirm that all is well, or out of adjustment, before you go to all of that work to replace the flywheel. Flywheels are normally balanced and mount in only one or two positions, that bolt pattern looks symetrical but it is not, it is indexed to the crank.
