While there is no substitute for the formula that cubic inches make torque, the 413 wedge never ran that good unless pumped up to run at high rpm. The wedge blocks cannot compete with the Hemi and Poly numbers without turning high rpms. The weight and speed wouldn't be conducive to PW survival. If you are dead set on using that 413, why not use it as trade for a good Poly? ha!ha! The next two motors in that class where the 426 wedge and then the 440 wedge. A detuned 440 is the best of that group for a truck motor, but too heavy for the PW.
