24 Volt Military Generator Problem??

OK with my Daughters good eyes she could see some letters on the Terminal Jack coming out of the Generator. Problem is they are on all jacks for wiring the pins I think. If you were to look into the jack opening at 12:00 it is the letter "A" 4:00 the letter "C" and 8:00 the letter "B" so does anyone have a book that tell what these letters indicate. Feild, Ground, Gen ect?? One read 27 ohms to ground and the other 2 read allmost the same around 270 ohms to ground? I can't figure them out by those readings. If one of them is a ground then it should have read 0-ohms I would think. Vaugh where are you? David did you find anything in your manual? Thanks, Mark H.
