That's true but I bet the set-up Jonas described...if you were in 3rd gear at 3500rpm, which should be peak torque, you'd be going roughly 50mph wouldn't you?
I guess it all depends on your 318 & how you have it set-up. I like the hemi installations & the Cummins BT4 is still my favorite but for sheer power, I still believe you'd do best with either a Poly or 360.
350 Chev like Keith's running is a great power plant too but think of the harassment you have to take from the Dodge boys! Ha Ha!
