Two of the easiest methods involve using the rules and blocking features of windows.

Once you either highlight or open a message, you can click on "message" then click on "Block Sender". You will never see anything from this person again.

For those who do not want to risk opening a message, you can create a message rule. It is usually found under the tools menu. You can walk through the menu creating rules. You can create as many as you want. they can filter out and delete any messages from a certain sender or any messages containing certain words like "viagra", etc. You can get really creative with these and have them move the messages to the deleted folder so you can check before you delete, or the rule can just blow the stuff away. If you make a rule that doesnt turn out right, just delete it. Its up to you. I have about 50 filters and 50 blocks on my PC at home. Some of the filters just sort the mail for me and put mail from certain friends into their own private folder. I get on the average of a couple of spam emails per week now.
