Do not understand why when I static time #1 Cylinder TDC the dist puts the rotor right on #1 plug wire but the timeing light shows it timed 2 1/2 inches to the right of the mark? I might be having problems with my light not fireing right off the plug wire since it is not working (flashing) all the time. Engine runs to good to be that far off. I pulled the oil pump and went a tooth both ways and the engine ran like crap so it must be right? Think I will stick with the old way not using a light. Mark H.
