You're going about it the right way. The condensor may be suspect.
Start at the begining, as you have, Battery power to the switch? Power from there to the coil? Power from coil to distibutor?
Points opening? Gap proper?
A motor needs fuel, spark and air.
...say you aren't out of fuel are you? = )
