Turns out by the vin it's a '56. Originally owned by the Califorina Oregon Power Company (that's what the brass plaque on the glovebox door says anyway. Also has a strange vaccuum brake controller on the steering columm for a pole trailer I guess. Dually rear wheels, and a MU-2 winch. NP420 syncro transmission.
The inside of it is sprayed the gloss OD green that the power and phone companys used back then. Unfortunatly it was re-painted yellow, then dark gray. It has a sliding rear window which is something I have never seen on a PW before.
If I had only bought the thelphone utility bed off Erics bell telephone truck.....
