HELP; SOURCE FOR;Vent window rubber

Have vent window rubber from VPW and not real happy with it the last inch or so is cut off(as made) and it is not as thick in the cross section as an original(Which I did a side by side comparison meaning an original to the newly manufactured one) The original was not mine and the owner is going to use it in his truck.
SO does anyone have a source? Metro Rubber??
Steel Rubber?? Anyone have experience with these guys? Thanks all.
