As stated below, you cannot mix the two types of fluids with DOT 5. If your system is totally new as stated and NEVER had DOT 3 or 4 in it, then you are good to go with DOT 5, otherwise stay with DOT 4.

As for the booster post before, I am still trying to grasp how fluid can get into the engine, even if the diaphragm leaks, the breather tube is the only connection between the booster and the carb/manifold. Normally the breather tube is located on the top or side of the booster, inches away from the location of the fluid, it would be hard to imagine enough vacumn to pull fluid that far? It would have to be a freak deal.
