I bleed the booster first. (Could be a high point in the system.) You will be able to tell that the booster is working quite easily by simply applying the brakes. There should be reduced pedal pressure required and you should be able to lock up the brakes easily. This is assuming that your drums and shoes are in good condition, properly adjusted and have no oil contamination from leaking hub seals. Listen for air exiting & entering the booster via the vent line and filter. I have never had any experience with a Micro-Lock. Maybe another forum member can help you here. Note: If your pedal is soft, you may still have air in your system on need further repairs/adjustments. A booster makes a big difference, ask Clint Dixon.
