I took this truck out in the back 40 today to see what it would do in 2 wheel drive. It has a locker in the rear end, and I've never had a truck with a locker. I was going up a soft steep hill, and when I got to the steepest part the tires filled up with goop and I just dug in a rut and stopped forward motion. I put it in 4x4 and still no forward motion. I backed down the hill and went up it again in 4x4 about 1 foot to the left of my ruts and it went up fine. If I had been in 4x4 to start with I would'nt have gotten stopped.
The other thing, if your on a side hill with locker in the back and you start slipping, thw whole ass end of the truck like to slide downhill on you.
Running boards and trees dont mix well.
