Most Macks of that era with Mack suspension ride like a brick. The first one I drove was loaded when I left and after I off-loaded and took off I thought there was something wrong with the truck! Had to stop and crawl under it to see what was going on. Finally realized it was just springs with NO give in them. A cabover makes it even worse. The B series are very cramped for me but I have never been in the H67. I would not buy a cabover except for show or if you had no other choice. A really nice truck to drive from about the '65 or so era was an International West Coaster conventional. Great visibility, rode pretty well but a bit on the ugly side. My choice would likely be a KW conventional partly because that was the first semi I drove. You might find one with the 275 or 300 horse small block Cummins. These have a gear grinder blower and sound really cool with the backdrop manifold on them. They run well also.
