By the time you've spent the money(and time) for restoration work on the other truck, you will have probably spent close to the amount you'll spend on the nice truck up front. If it were me, and I had the money, I'd go with the pretty one. I mean, I don't know what you have in mind for whichever truck, but thats what I'd do.
