Your Amp Gauge will work fine but your 12 volt generator might put out more amps then it can handle and peg it sometimes. I used a resistor on my 6 volt 2 wire Gas Gauge I got from VPW. Just swap out your panel and running lights so you do not burn them out. Same problem with your heater motor if it is a 6 volt either change it out or use a resistor to lower the voltage. Mark H.
