Amsoil. Is it worth it?

Hello everyone:

I'd like some input on Amsoil products. I am looking for a good Synthetic brand to use and stay with. I have used Mobil 1 in the past with good results, but I recently got the packet of info for the AmsOil dealer distributorship, and it looks very good, but I figgure before I jump into anything Id talk to the wise crowd who knows. Is it true that when you switch to Synthetic that your seals start to leak? Id like to switch the Dodge Cummins Truck to Synthetic, but it has 300K on it. Not shure if its such a good idea. Thanks all for the input.
