I've been up there plenty. Went to Fairbanks couple of years back, even Santa Clause House. I worked in Prudhoe for 4 summers and fished the local rivers up there for char. Been all through Kenai, down towards Soldatna, Whittier, and Halibut fished in PWS out beyond Valdez; Codova, and the Tsiu. Best day fishing ever on the Tsiu for sea run silvers on fly. Simply incredible. This time I may just do the Upper Kenai for bows and cuts away from the crowds. Maybe even up towards you some. Alaska is just incredible (at least until you get to the Brooks range, then north of there its just plain desolate).
