Marty, you will have to agree that from an investment viewpoint a nice original in the range of 7000 to 13,000 say like Wilber is a much better deal then a fully restored truck in the 25,000 to 35,000 range. Do'nt you think these restored/refurbished trucks will depreciate almost to the extent of a new vehicle. How many times have you seen the term "Dodge power wagon like a new truck" If you use it is wont be new. Seals and rubber go bad over time, paint fades. I am sure there is a group of collectors out there where money is no object but to most of use we look not to lose money over time. With a little tinkering and TLC a truck like Wilber or like mine below will be good for limited use and still increase in value over time. Like having your cake and eating it too.
