...two items worth mentioning. First is the really cool experience of driving through Altamonte Pass, while visiting family in CA a few years ago. The windmill farm doesn't seem to detract from the natural beauty, quite the opposite, gave us all something interesting to look at while cruising through. Second is the fact that all the rich farts that own waterfront land on Vinyard Sound, off the coast of MA, put a big NO WAY on a plan to put a windmill farm off Cape Cod. Said it would ruin the natural environment..... Makes you wonder, sometimes what these folks are thinking.
