Just make sure those d-rings are anchored into the main frame of the trailer, not just bolted on to the steel deck. Personally I dont like the steel deck. I like wood because stuff wont slide around so much, and you can nail wheel chocks down around your tires. I have a wood deck, and every exposed piece of metal has been rhino lined. The first time you slip off the top of the fender, you'll know what I mean.
I also use channel welded vertically to the side of my trailer for anchoring chains, and I have 4, 3" webbing winches (like the kind you see on big truck trailers) welded on the sides for securing parts like cabs, beds, what-not...
