That's true in Wyoming and Utah both. Just kidding about grabbing the moose, but a lot of good game meat is wasted on the road. Even taking it for dog food is better than leaving it for the bugs and birds. If you hit a game animal and only injure it, don't even think about putting it out of its misery or you'll be arrested for poaching.
