Dodge first said that the distributor was for a 318LA and it would not work in the 318 Poly, then they said they weren't sure. I called the local Dodge dealer to see if he had one in stock, and he said yes, so I went down there with a mic and my distributor, it was a perfect match. A simpler way would be to match your distibutor against a 318 distributor, if they match then the Mopar Electronic Ignition kit will work, as long as you are 12 volts. I can't tell from the Dodge parts numbers whether they are the same or not.
