I have been thinking of buying a 1970 W500 ex- military truck w/a #3-slt/6 for $850.00
The front of the hood, grill, and fenders are rusted pretty bad and I was toying with the idea of taking the cab and front clip off and replacing with a straight cab/frt clip from a 1947 1-1/2 ton Dodge ex-firetruck. How would it need to be registered? By the cab VIN or chassis type/or size?
