Here is what I am after if at all possible:

All the numbers off any tags, data tags, body tags. (I want every number, but I do not need the description of the number, just write them in order, and I will straighten it out)

Engine number (located on the drivers side of the block, about 4" back from the front of the block, just below the head)

Winch numbers (located on a pad on the drivers side of the winch, facing up).

Rim date codes (should be a 2 digit number, like 49, located on the face of the rim, near where the lug nuts are).

Current color and original color if known

Bed style (1st, 2nd, 3rd series) or stake, etc. If it came to you as a factory flatbed, that is important, but if it was some farmer body or a cab chassis, and you are unsure of what body was on it from the factory, then it is just unknown.

Any other interesting info about your truck.

I am collecting this info from any WDX-WM300 PW I can, as I am trying to figure out what the engine numbers should be for a given year, and how the other numbers compare.

For example, I am trying to find out if the 4.89 trucks have a different GVW listed on the tag, so far every truck built before 1951 has a GVW of 8700, and every truck 1951 and never has a GVW of 9500.

There has been one exception, and that was a B-4.

HP went from 74 HP at 2800 RPM to 102 HP at 3600 RPM during the run of 230s.

This is the sort of info I am trying to collect, as well as figuring out exactly what year a truck might be from the date codes on the truck.

I will take any data I can get, but the more complete the data the more useful it is to me for comparison to other trucks.

Thanks for your help!!

Eric
