I really feel bad about nicking your bumper. That was my fault, and it was an ACCIDENT. I let myself get too hurried, because you put me and my friends behind schedule. I’m sorry it happened. I did not choose to hit your truck.

You on the other hand, did choose to lie to me about the M37 being out in front and ready for us to load when we got there.

You did choose not to show up at the time we agreed.

You did choose to reluctanly drive a few miles from your house while I drove 750 miles from my house.

You did choose to remove parts from the truck after I loaded the truck on my trailer and I had already paid you cash for the truck. You chose not to show up face to face when I would realize that you took them.

You actually were pretty gracious when I apologized about the bumper on your old Ford. That’s one of the reasons I decided not to complain on the forum earlier. I thought the courteous thing to do was to call you and let you know it seemed dishonest when you removed those parts. I hope my impression of your business practices was just a fluke.

Service and Courtesy are important to me.

I paid you promptly in advance.

When you could not produce the parts you advertised and for which I paid you four months prior, I agreed to take that M37 in exchange for the money you owed me.

I showed up when I said I would.

I paid you more cash.

I hauled it off when I said I would.

I then hauled it 1,500 miles to Josh in Michigan, again exactly like I said I would.

Josh was pleased with my service. I believe the only complaint he had is that the windshield frame he was expecting had been removed before it left Colorado. I’m not suggesting you ripped him off. I’m just saying there was a lack of communication between the two of you. A lack of communication that good service and courtesy would have prevented.

I feel service dictated that I share my experience with others before they face similar disappointments.

I feel courtesy demands we give each other another chance to demonstrate that we can all live up to higher standards.
