..that block was bored by the factory, to 318, 340, 360, and finally 400. It is no big deal! Now as far as the water and oil passages are concerned, there may be some hot spots as the later blocks were certainly reconfigured internally to accept those bore conditions. But after 45 years I wouldn't be worried. = )
