Yes oil can be slippery, I've had a small spill of curing compound (we cannot use oil based sealers in CA anymore, they are wax based now) It wipes right up, with no staining or residue, maybe Marty used Line-X???? Rhino also has UV inhibitors for a few dollars more.
I highly recommend it for your truck (what the hey, I GET letters either way! ha!ha!)
