OT - Garage construction question

I know many of you have built a garage to store the PW's so I figured I'd ask here as well. I plan to build a 24X24 (possibly 24X28) garage for one PW and work space (I know, i'd love to go bigger but this is what money will allow). My question is this: if I do a monolithic pour (12" by 30" trench on the outside) will a 4" floor pad be enough to support the weight?? Also wondering how thick + how much rebar to run in the concrete?? Any ideas?
If anyone has additional ideas or info to contribute relating to the build please feel free to express them.
