Give your self plenty of time to visit folks across the U.S.!! You could stay over night with folks you've brought together here on the forum, we could all fill your tank in the mornings before you left, and you could be there in a few weeks! To borrow from the Navy, "It's not just a Rally, it's an adventure!"
(Makes you appreciate the pioneers that traveled that distance in covered wagons!!)
