When you have froozen pistons in the cylinders, you usually also have a ridge around the outside of the drum preventing the drum from comming off. The best thing to do is take the hub and drum off together. You have to unbolt the wheel cylinder so it and the brake shoes will come off with the drum. Once you get the drum out from the backing plate aways, you might be able to work the shoes and cylinder out of the drum. If not, you continue to pull off the hub. This will bend the brake shoes and holding springs on the plate, but they can all be straightened once apart.
