Since you are referencing WDX-WM300 tags only, you are correct about the plants in LA and San Leandro closing. However All Dodge truck models, used the same plates in those years. The '58 to '67 plates are supposed to be the same, per Dodge, VPW and other sources, but when you get Bert, Ernie, Larry, Moe and Curley, stamping the plates out in the factory, you get different "looks" on the various plates. Also a S.O. No. line took the place of the VIN line which was moved to the separate VSN plate. Both PW's and Conventional Dodge Trucks added the VSN plate, properly called "Vehicle Seiral Number" plate. You may notice that in 63 or 64 they added that text and also added that text in Spanish, as I believe the Mexico plant opened during that time frame.
Good Luck with your research.
