Robert, every m37 I have had, has had a plywood base w/ round air vent holes,4 metal cups at the corners to position it on the base, @3inches of foam and then the canvas. If you need a template for the plywood I can send ou one, if you will send it back. I can also take a picture and email it to you if my description is not easy to decipher. Kurt
