No the wheels are different. The WC uses combat wheels and the M37 uses the split rim. Lots of parts are the same and lots are different. Some parts that are the same are

Differentials, hubs, brake drums, wheel cylinders engine parts. basicall internal driveline/axle/engine parts.

Bodies are totally different. Transmissions and transfercases are different. Steering and I believe axle housings have different parts. However, later M37 transmissions, transfer cases and engines can be installed in the WC 53 with the correct bell housing and correct transfer mounts from the 1 1/2 ton WCs.

Bottom line, there are alot of common and a lot of different parts between the two.
