That is the front driveline and it is correct. On this truck, the transfer case slants back a little. This is to make the angles on the rear axle less severe since it is constantly putting the power to the ground. The problem with this approach is that the front driveshaft angles worsen by an equal amount. Remember on a u-joint equipped axle, the axle input shaft and the t-case output shaft must be parallel. There is no easy way to change this. The only way to change it is to have a double cardan driveshaft built and have the knuckles rotated on the front axle. Bottom-line, that is the way is was designed.
